So I bought a cotton wreath on Amazon for my 2nd year wedding anniversary earlier this month and proudly hung it on the door of our new home. We’ve had a very rainy, humid month and I noticed GREEN MOLD all over the cotton buds. I sprayed it with 1:1 water / vingegar and it sort of helped but now I’m thinking it should never have been left outdoors? left to dry first? brought indoors during wet weather? Wreath rookie clearly and can’t find wreath care practices online that talk about cotton specfically. HELP!
