S. Singularis persistence

i have a singularis in it’s juvenile stage that I wanted to prevent it from entering the adult stage. So when the spike appeared this summer, I removed it and potted it. It actually had a long thick root attached. As you can see in the photo, another spike has appeared in only 2 months. I still like the juvenile form and I may remove this latest growth.

    It is stated that Sans. tri. hahnii is a regular trifasciata that is staying in it's juvenile state. That's why they don't bloom. There is some reports that one or two did but is very rare. Juveniles are noted to keep their rosette form and continue 'stacking'.
