Can the light be assembled without the extension bar

Can a flush mount look be achieved by eliminating the extension bar ? My entry space does not call for such a long length.

    We can definitely provided you with a shorter stem. We can make it as short as 6", which is actually 4" visible once you screw it in. You can also purchase a "1/2" close nipple" at a hardware store which will allow you to connect the dome to the ceiling mounting plate with very minimal pipe exposed.
