Pulling out seedlings?!

last modified: 8 years ago

Saw a comment a while back about someone pulling out hellebore seedlings by the handful. One man’s treasure is another man’s weed, I guess. Lol. Just wanted to throw it out there that if anyone has extra hellebore seedling that are a nuisance to them, I would be more than happy to give them a home! :) Not having any luck finding locally nurseries or garden centers. Mail order looks like my next step.

I’d be happy to pay postage or send something in exchange. I’ll post my trade list in the comments below.

That was probably me about pulling the seedlings.

If you have several hundred hellebore plants you too will find that about May to june your beds will look like a grassy lawn from them and at the single true-leaf stage you can't give away many thousand generic un-named seedlings. The compost pile begins to look better and better as an alternative.

Lol. That makes total sense. I just wish I could dig in the compost pile
