You can try to plant them. When the weather is cold, I water deeply on the previous evening. Especially new shrubs. Mulch well too to protect the roots. I use 2-4" of organic mulch (no rocks). At worst, the leaves may get zapped and eventually the stems but these will "go" at some point anyways....

If you simply wish to be able to "see them green longer" then keep them in the garage/home (away from drying vents) for those few days and then plant them. Or keep them in a protected place thru winter and plant them about 2 weeks after your avge date of last frost in Spring.
