One storm chaser, Brett Adair, got caught in the tidal surge in Mexico beach and he and his assistant got out of his truck and into a house just as his truck was washed away. We who were watching his channel were terrified that we were watching someone die in real time. He's o.k., but he's very blessed. He was on the end of the beach that wasn't the hardest hit. He lost tens of thousands of dollars in equipment, and his truck, but he's still alive, which is what counts.

Yes, that's his channel that Pea linked, Deb. I don't know why he waited so long. I would have been out of there as soon as the spray from the waves started breaking on my windshield.

280 people in the worst hit counties are missing. Hopefully, most of them got out and just can't get cell service to call loved ones, but half of PCB couldn't leave because there was no gas. I'm just praying for good news.

I can only hope the loss of life is not as great as the loss of property...
