Round two - LR console table.

I took the advice of Houzz and decided to go with a wood console table for the wall to the left behind the sofa.
I had the opportunity to see the Ballard Design Amanda console table in store. The piece doesn't have as much Asian influence in store as it does in the pictures online. Now my concern is the size.
The wall is 97 inches and the piece is 81.5 inches wide and 12 inches deep. Is the console too wide? should I try and find a piece that is around 70 inches.
