Your house is GORGEOUS!! What choices do you have in the asphalt shingles? You may be limited to only 5-10 colors?

Have you searched Houzz to find a color you like? Search 'black roof shingles', etc., and see what catches your eye...

That is way too much roof for me I never see the point in all the gables and angles where the roof is larger than the house . You do need to make all of these exterior finish choices together . Your achitect should be who answers these questions.

Thank you all. I edited and put the link for color choices in my original comment. I don’t have stone or shingle picked :-( So I’m wondering if I should just do a dark gray to match whatever I end up choosing for those.

Wren, where do you live? What is the climate?

The SHASTA WHITE (is energy star rated) and actually really pretty. My eye is also drawing to Estate Gray, Teak (more black) and Brownwood, and Onyx Black (but might be too hot for some climates)....all nice.

Any ideas what you want your trim our house color to be? Do you have to use certain paints?

Photoshop would be the best best or find a house like yours that you admire on Houzz and copy it exactly.....

Has construction started?

And I'll agree with the above -- get all your choices together and decide, starting with the materials with the most limited selection, like the stone and shingles, and/or anything that will be prepainted.
