My home is open concept and I need a runner to go from entry through to living. I need a runner because my little dog needs traction on the hardwood floors. (Yeah, its all about the dog lol). I have pictures of the space with the existing mats and then bare. Each shows the area from both ends. Should I go with a runner that is light or dark? The hardwood has an ash, grey, charcoal dark flooring. I want something that blends or compliments, not a focus. Help!!! Thoughts???
