Growing an Alocasia odora from bulb

Hey, everyone! I'm having some trouble with my variegated Alocasia odora.

The mother plant died a couple weeks after I got it, thanks to a ridiculous heat wave. Nothing I did could stop it from yellowing and slowly falling apart over about a month. I dug up the extra bulbs and potted those a few months ago.

3 sprouted and they were doing great when I kept them in my dark kitchen by the warm stove, covered with a plastic bag to increase humidity. But then it seemed their progress had stopped, so I moved them to my bookshelf (next to a South-facing window).

After I took these photos, I repotted them into a pot with a drainage hole. But they haven't been growing. 2 leaves are still stuck unrolling and now the largest leaf is wilting/yellowing. Is the plant just going dormant? And if so, should I dig out the bulbs after the leaves die off and replant in spring (as I've seen a couple websites recommend)?
