I've already searched the internet, and there's a lot of misleading information, like the second link you posted, which says:

"Height: 1.5m Width: 1.5m"

I planted mine a year ago and at that time it was 1.5 m tall. Now it's 3.5 m tall. and not showing any intention of slowing down. It will in a few weeks when winter comes, but next spring it'll start again. It's extremely vigorous.

On the Florida Gardening forum, where I posted my question as well, someone posted this link http://www.floridayards.org/ on a different thread. There's a Florida fridndly plant database http://www.floridayards.org/fyplants/index.php and it give the following info:

Mature Height: 4 - 18 ft. Mature Spread: 10 - 15 ft.

Which I know to be correct for the duranta I grew up with.

Duranta geisha was developed in Japan and I was under the impression it was smaller than the old duranta. So far it's not behaving as if it might be.

The above link link has a couple of gardeners who said it reached 7’ in a relatively short time, plus one suggestion that regular pruning may increase flower production.
