Thoughts on polished nickel faucets vs champagne bronze

I was at a local bath showroom and told the sales person I was leaning toward champagne bronze fixtures for my bathroom remodel (navy vanity, calacatta verona quartz. White subway in shower). I feel like it would really warm the space up and look great with navy vanity. She strongly recommended I go with polished nickel. Now I'm confused. Any thoughts?

I think the champagne bronze would be lovely and wonder why the salesperson would try to steer you away from what you said you like?

Similar to what you're after? I know the quartz has a bluish veining to it.

I have a navy vanity with champagne bronze pulls and faucet. I love it! Go with your vision -- you'll be happy in the long run.

She actually told me I'd regret it in a few years. She said the polished nickel would be a good alternative to adding warmth. The polished nickel is very pretty and I like it. Now just more confused.

Somewhere I saw a photo ad of a navy vanity with the champagne bronze pulls and I thought it was absolutely stunning. I do think that the champagne bronze faucets would of course look great with it, but I was trying to decide if a different more common finish could work. I did have some hesitation as well about the faucets being champagne bronze, stunning as it is. Not sure if I am just being practical, or trying to not commit?

Hmm wonder why she said that? The differing shades of brass (gold, rose gold, brushed, etc) are the hot ticket right now in my area at least. I'm not sure how I feel about it myself and don't plan to put it in my current home, but I DO like how it looks in the newer more modern homes! If YOU like it, I would go for it. Sounds like it would be beautiful with the other design elements you mentioned.

A little late to the party but I am having the same issue I bought a polished nickel faucet with cross handles it’s beautiful but I really love the champagne bronze ! I need help figuring out one for a powder room. Any advice if anyone is still on here lol. Maybe keep the nikel or change light to brass

What did you end up choosing?? I wonder if she thought that champagne bronze would be overdone. It's still popular now and polished nickel is trending too but it's a classic metal, so I don't think it really goes out of style.

I'm having to make a decision between the two also. Everything currently is brass and Champagne Bronze works will with that BUT I want a handheld showerhead and they don't come in CB! I've seen some nickel faucets that look close to the CB and wondering if it would be close enough to use for the showerhead. It would be easy if they made brass faucets still, in the design I want but they don't. :/

Deborah, Delta has a champagne bronze 2-in-1 shower sprayer. They have many products in champagne bronze but i'm not sure how their finish compares to other brands. From what I"ve read, all plumbing fixtures should be the same color. Just like you wouldn't pick two different light fixtures of different metals,
