Not that tough. Cold and damp and it's dead. As long as you kept them dry, they can take a month abuse. I have seen one in a dimly lite living room. Had to ask what kind of plant it was. She told me that was the plant I gave her 3 years ago. I didn't even know it was a snake plant. Floppy dark green leaves. She told me she watered it once every few months. Sounds almost like some of the stories Hermine Stover's Sans book had in them.

Nice set up. In five years or less each pot will be busting out. Looks like plastic black pots inside of the fancy ones. Good idea. way to go.
