Design Dilemma Basements Fireplaces

Hello.

Any ideas on how to finish the basement with the appliances right next to the fireplace which is offset? We need small budget-friendly ideas.

Quickest (I assume to want to include fireplace into finished basement), would be a 45 degree angled wall from brick edge to around the lolly column. Perhaps (getting out of budget friendly) put a wood stove in the corner (tap into chimney above the fireplace and convert the fireplace for store stacked wood.

I think you have to build a fire-code compliant room around all that. This will still give you a huge amount of space to work with. An eventual large floating sectional with the short end facing the fireplace and the long side facing the left wall for TV/bookcase/storage would be possible. Get a designer to help you with all this.Because it's such a big space, think of zones--TV watching, games, eating. Here are some basements from Houzz.
