The brownish plant behind the blue senecio is Phormium 'Jack Spratt', a short, narrow bladed New Zealand Flax.

I've been admiring your portfolio of work and I'm very inspired it is great to see somebody doing interesting creative colorful dynamic drought tolerant low-water use landscapes! There is much hype about some of these government programs that offer you rebates for taking up your lawn and well I love the concept the execution of them is quit drab to put it mildly - I don't think anybody's idea of environmentally friendly front yard is a dumpster load of crushed stone with a few sporadic weed Like plant species! I don't think neighbors want to look at that and I know I would not want to look out and see that I think it will planned garden or yard includes dimensional elements texture. Color variation and even architjectures like benches or sculptural rocks etc. Provide focal points and or destinations. I think your work is terrific! Best DinoTURCHIdesign

The dark purple phormium behind the large blue agave is P. 'Amazing Red'. See comment above for specs on shorter phormiums in front.
