We have pickled wash oak cabinetry (pinkish & glazed) from the 80s in a classic pattern, excellent condition and hinges are not obvious, bonus! Wondering if we should reface or replace them. Planning to replace the green laminate counter with granite or quartz. Not sure I would venture re-painting them myself, would prefer to seek a professional to do it. Is refacing less costly and worth the investment or replacing the cabinet is the more logical way to go.
