I use the Toothpick when I cross pollinate so I don't get the pollan from the mother flower the brush will work if you are using the the same pollan of the mother flower most of the time I use the toothpick just works better for me

I tried the brush method once, but it didn't work. I must have been too rough because my flower fell off the next day (it was a fairly new bud) lol.

I got my first pod ever, recently. I cut two flowers (from different plants), scraped with wet toothpick, and placed on gel cap of other, then taped them shut. That worked for me. It took a few attempts before I got one, though.

I just got my first one using a brush like Maria on YouTube. I've been trying for months. Finally one poked through.. I'm not familiar with the toothpick method. You just scrape the pollen out?

Paulie, I'm not 100% on the time. I think maybe a week or two before I actually noticed it.

Flies. Or rather the Adeniums use flies. I have about a dozen pods growing on about two dozen blooming sized plants. Not evenly distributed, one plant is growing four pods. We'll see what happens after winter.
