What material are you thinking about? Most will be available in a color split that you are indicating.

The bigger issue for most folks is when they want the black inside and out.

Ahh, thank you for the info! We aren't sure about the material yet - any suggestions? We are currently more focused on working on the overall aesthetic of the exterior of the home (for preliminary sketch) and can't decide if we want to do white siding with black windows or grey siding with white trim and windows. Tough choice!

Ask for dual color options! Some companies offer it while others may not. Here's an example of red exterior with grey interior on a thermally broken aluminum window:

IMO black windows are in no way trendy just make sure they are appropriate for your house.

We are building a house and it has just this - black from the outside, white inside. They are Pella Pro windows.

I love that! Do you mind me asking if they were more expensive then the typical because of the dual color?

Our contractor made the choice before we bought but I'm guessing not since he's a builder!

A split finish is definitely more than a single olor and black is a premium with every manufacturer I am aware of.
