Get the furniture first and then revisit whether you need the rug.

I really like BOTH rugs, which isn't helping you at all. Just depends on which colors you want to bring out. With your other rug, I'm not sure you need a rug in that space, but if you want one, I suggest going with whichever colors blend best with the one you have. It is very hard to determine accurate colors on computer screens.

How about adding another one to consider?
