I know a lot of people think specifically of Asplenium bulbiferum when they think of mother ferns: plants which can reproduce by making bulbils/plantlets on the fronds. However, there are many other species.

Right now I have:

Asplenium bulbiferum

Woodwardia orientalis

Polystichum setiferum (I think...)

Hemionits arifolia

I'v had a couple more in the past. If I were to get a small collection going, which would be nice additions, and why? I'm in a frost free, cool summer, zone 10 climate, so I don't have a a huge motivation to grow plants which go dormant every year.

Any that are particular odd, colorful, unusual, etc. would be of great interest.
