Wall Decor Help?

These photos are from our in-progress remodel so they’re not fully furnished or a completed view. I’m at the point where I’m trying to figure out what to put on the wall behind the couch... I thought a simple gallery wall with frames that have a lot of white space or maybe a piece of art but nothing has really stuck out to me. It can’t be a mirror bc it will reflect a tv and that would be the first thing you see when you enter the room.

We are going to be adding a farmhouse table in the open space which is along a wall of windows.

How about a sofa table behind the sofa with some additional lighting and some art?

Since the space behind the sofa is a walk space, a sofa table would not work. As far as a gallery wall, take care not to use too many really small pieces. A picture rail or two might be just the kind of gallery wall you would enjoy. The example here is only for the picture rail, not the sofa against the wall. Congrats!

Do you think the picture slider would look weird because the wall is off center with the couch or am I thinking too much into it? I love the idea

You should definitely include some art back there but consider using different splashes of colors so the place doesn’t look so serious. You can even consider using a triptych painting of different sizes.

Meredith, treat the wall/walkway as a separate space and don't worry about the furniture being centered.
