Best Countertops for Heat

I’m deciding on countertops for my crafting space. I will be doing ironing on them as part of framing prep. Yes, I will have an ironing board of sorts, but still, I tend to be scatterbrained and place hot things down. This is why I have granite in my kitchen.

What surface would be best for my custom craft room built-in work stations? I don’t want laminate. I’m currently considering granite, quartz, or corian/solid surface.

Corian claims heat resistance up to 212F. Quartz around 150F. Linen fabric (my usual) takes 445F to iron out wrinkles. Hot glue is common in my craft room (248F).

So would granite be my best choice? Or, with the use of an ironing board and some care, are the others viable?

My computer will be on one of the desks so how much heat a counter retains is also a factor. I’d like something that keeps cool and doesn’t suck up heat.
