Wow, I have never seen one Bloon before, are they stinky?

I like the scent but not everyone does. And some who do like it report that it's too strong inside. My first one to bloom was last fall but it happened when plants were still outside. I may end up being one of those who finds it too strong inside, or my husband. We will find out soon. :)

A lot of people have them here but outside. When you drive around on still nights the smell wafting around the neighbourhood is quite noticeable. Especially considering it's a rural area and housing density is fairly low. So I could imagine indoors they'd be close to lifting the roof off a house, LOL.

Funnily enough none of my D. fragrans flowered this last winter/dry season, although the others made up for it. Except for D. goldieana which has never flowered. One of my D. reflexa 'Song of India' still has ripe fruit on it.

Wow amazing buds set to bloom. Those plants are so beautiful and so well cared for by a pro. Tiffany from the 2nd picture shared you have a delightful collection of indoor plants. So glad to see you are sharing all your horticultural knowledge .

I had a few bloom in the past and once the tiny little floral buds start to open one by one they begin to share an overwhelming olfactory that can perfume the air for weeks.
