New Look for our Kitchen
So we were forced into remodeling our kitchen and living room by a critter that chewed on a water pipe in the attic. One YEAR later, after stripping everything back to the bare joists and four rounds of mold remediation we are finally finished. The layout stayed the same but we tried a bit more transitional look.

The backsplash behind the stove is the same carrara marble as the counters. The rest is Harlow Picket Mosaic tile. It is a mix of stone, glass and metal that we fell in love with. My contractor liked the tile so much he is using it in his own bathroom remodel. The tile is actually pictured on line running side to side but we liked it better going up and down. We also decided at the last minute to wrap it around the appliance garage. Love the look there, it really helps blend it in instead of sticking out like a big white box in the corner.

Here are some shots of the other side of the room. We used the same carrara marble as our counters around the fireplace too.
