how did you start your seeds. I seem to have no problem getting them to germinate - maybe it's the way I torque my mouth - it's the getting them repotted at the correct time (second set of leaves) and light that can be an issue.

also, what is your medium. miracle grow will work as a seed starter, but when you transplant, the medium should be much grittier ... I use a 50/50 mix of chicken grit (no. 2 cherrystone) and floor dry (Napa part no. 8822) withe the tiniest sprinkle of potting soil around the rootball. but that's me. they go in semi shade in the summertime until they can be acclimated to come out and play in full sun.

I use the red/blue plastic drink cups, or cut off gator aide bottles for my plants. with my solo cups, I put many holes in the bottom for drainage, and then insert that cup into another cup (without holes) to catch the drip page. When it rains in the summer, you lift the insert out, drain the outside cup and place the two cups back together.

if you planted them monday you shuld have already had some sprouting,i planted a new set of seeds in the wednesday and today i already had some sprouting do you have facebook add me there jenilson gallo puga

As per most of the threads here, media was about 1/1/1 potting soil/perlite/chicken grit (2mm crushed granite) in 4 X 4 plastic pots. I was using the plastic bag method, but figure I had mix way too wet as I noticed some seeds had started to germinate and then apparently rotted. Also, I had not pre-soaked the seed and was not initially on heat mat.

I have just started some more seeds as of last Monday. These are fresh seeds from Mr. Ko, soaked 3 hours bfore planting into less wet media than before, rolled in fungicide powder, and planted in a 72 cell seed tray with a dome over them and placed on a seed starting heat mat. Here's hoping.

not at all a good ideia to aplay fungicide onto seeds,i have read that adeniums are very sensitive to Phytotoxicity
