You really need a bigger rug. And a real lamp...

It looks so empty because I just repainted the walls and threw out tons of clutter.

The lamps are spare old stuff I found laying around. Rug is still fresh and not sure its refundable since it's opened and used. Might have to swap it with the ones from living room.

Beautiful room. That console and desk are to die for. I'm wondering why the console isn't in the living room. It looks a tad long for that wall.

A little more attention to detail could turn this room into a real knockout. I'll work on it some more tomorrow.

Appreciate it! Theres a darker albeit longer "grained" rug somewhere in the house which can probably be swapped.

There used to be 2 nightstands but I took it out. The standing book case blocked the light so I laid it down.

You can get graphic art as digital downloads at etsy.com for about $5 each. Then you just need to print it (or send it to FedEx to print for a couple of dollars) and stick it in a ready made frame.

If you work in your bedroom, it's important to make your desk area calm and tidy and pleasant to look at (so you don't try to sleep with work on your mind).

Ikea has eight frames (some might be too small) for $40. Still, it's a ganga and you can replace the pictures easily, though some even look suitable for a graphic display.
