Before selecting a fixture, select your preferred "color temperature" bulb (bulbs are called "lamps" in the electrical trade). Any Big Box has a display showing the different temps. Buy a few, put them in table lamps (no shades) and decide which color rendition works best with your color scheme. Then select a lighting fixture that can be used with your choice.
