It may be just the normal process of older leaves dying. Correct plant name is Ludisia discolor.

Tell us where you have the plant and you might get better help. Near a window? Temperatures? and so on...even where you are in the USA or climate zone.

Plant is here. There is another window across from that stand on the other side of the room. light shines on the stand for the latter half of the day depending on the weather. I live in zone 5 or 6. These are all indoor plants. It’s winter, so the heat is on but not continuously. Idk what the temp is in here.

I also had a humidifier running occasionally but it just broke the other day. I am misting the room/some of the plants that require it until I can get a new one.

Yeah there’s drainage and no none of my plants sit in water.

I got the plant from Pistils Nursery and it came with a care info card which I followed as well as googled the plant when I got it. Maybe the leaves are just going through natural cycle ♀️

I believe the lower leaf is aging out, the upper one is sunfaded, I suspect from sun / light that was too hot or direct.

These are not plants for strong sun or direct light. They naturally occur as forest ground cover, they are terrestrial orchids, that is to say growing in soil down on the ground, rather than epiphytically up in the trees as many other orchids.

I wouldn't mist these as they have a velvety leaf texture that wouldn't take well to being wet (like you don't mist African Violets).

I had some a few years back. They were out in the garden under a tree getting good light but not direct sun. They were in a pot which was sitting in a shallow container with water keeping them very wet. Grew well over a number of years until some feral pigs got in. Never found them after that. Don't know if they were eaten or just buried under the ploughed up soil.
