Your number 2 Black-Red is just flat-out gorgeous Princess. I really like the patterning on the last flower also, but think I'd like it better as a single or a flat 2-layer flower like the black-red. Despite that it's immensely appealing to me.

As to others posting, your geographical location does give you a bit of an advantage don't you think? LOL

Peter, your picotee cerise on white is very good, and the red-splashed yellow single has a really unique look. I really like picotee flowers, and just purchased several seed lots from Mr. Ko of this type.

O.T. I rather like the frangipani flower ornament in your last photo. What is it made of? A bit out of focus, but alluring none the less.

What a beautiful blooms you both got! Pls keep posting, you are the only few people that have beautiful blooms at this time of the year :) My plants are dormant and boring right now, I had a few blooms last month but they were not worth to even got them out of shelves, lol. For me winiter is time for holidays and other hobbies, very busy season actually.

I really like the flowers, but the name change for Peter is hilarious! (I am also a HUGE spider mite breeder!)

Interesting coloration, Peter, on that creamy whitish one with the yellow & magenta "feathering" on each petals right side.

Unfortunately, Princess, unless you wouldn't mind opening this "show and tell" to non-adeniums I'll just have to be a "non-contributor".

Sorry, I can't help myself - got to share this beautiful cluster of blooms.. Same flower shown in first set of pics (3rd one down).. Paul, I don't mind at all if you show photos of non-adeniums.. Does anyone object to sharing this post?. In response to geoforce's comment about my geographical location (Hawaii), I would like to say that I am extremely grateful for being here and without such a beautiful climate, I probably would not be pursuing this hobby.. Had a huge collection of orchids in Southern California for a very long time but my hot and dry micro climate here has not been kind to growing cattleyas and laelias. Adeniums rule now and a few orchids are just barely hanging on by a thread.. Adeniums are much less finicky and just as satisfying.

Those are beautiful Princess but Houzz is being weird as usual. The photo was cropped in yout post, but after I clicked it to expand and see all of it it now shows complete even after I closed the blowup, Just weird all around.

Rachael, no day like today....really. I did it last May, but failed to get any blossoms (they blasted due to so hot). I have great hopes this year, but...moral is..waiting later in year may be bad idea for any quick results.

I have been searching for one locally for several months. There is a plant sale coming to my area in March. So until then I have to pass the time watching my Plumeria root.

There is such a thing as mail-order :) Adeniums aren't common up here..maybe more so in your area.

As it was mail-order, mine was a bare-root, so my comments were directed to it having to root in.

I would order online, but there is something about hand picking my new baby that is enjoyable. It will happen for sure in March.
