It is supposed to be very tricky with timing of light and dark but I can tell you that I kept mine outside all summer in the shade, then brought it inside before frost. It’s been in a south facing window since then snd lo snd behold it’s blooming! I feel like a genius but it was just a lucky accident. I think it was keeping it in the shade!
