Hello there!

I am currently tackling a couple DIY projects for our Master bedroom. (3 years later, my house is finally starting to look less and less like a college dorm). Since I try to get style on a budget, I bought 2 Ikea Rast 3 Drawer dressers to be my nightstands and the Ikea Tarva 6 drawer dresser to be well, my dresser. My inspiration for our bedroom was Sarah Richardson's Bacheolor Loft where she used Ming Dragon print for the headboard and lots of colour.

Our house is a very strange shape, in the country, so honing in on a particular style I have found to be difficult, but I would say my personal style is industrial, eclectic and colourful.

I am becoming over whelmed with the tiniest of decisions in my house, so I now turn to my trusted Houzz friends to help me decide what hardware I should put on my furniture to complete their look.

I have stained the Rast nightstands to be dark Walnut, which luckily lightens a bit with the top protective coat, and I plan on painting the Tarva dresser a nice red to compliment the Ming fabric I fell in love with. I originally wanted the fabric for a headboard but when I put it against our accent wall, everything seemed too dark, so instead I will spread the wealth of the fabric through a bench and accent pillows. I have attached a lot of pictures (because I am obnoxious) to give you all a better understanding of my vision.
