A little story....One of the local Society members turned up with this orchid at the November meeting

Which class does it got in? I had no idea because in 40 odd years of orchid growing it was unseen. Then I looked at the label...hmmm name starts with a Capital C. must be a hybrid, put it in Class xx.

Sorting through the entry forms to type up the benching results and found that it was a species Dendrobium and didn't go in class xx.

Doesn't help you much!

Funny you should say that, he always does with me too, and he always answers the phone and even calls back! I have met him in person, and what a very kind person. I had no idea he had alll of this. Makes me very happy! He even gave me names of the most fragrant dendrobiums last night which I ordered, small easy to care for. NO cold rest period or dry. Love that guy.
