Which backsplash?

Which backsplash do you like? Paint color is pure white and cabinets are white shaker.

The middle. AFTER you remove the 3 inch riser on the counter.

agree w/Jan. but you already have a backsplash when you installed that little piece up the back. remove it if you want tile.

I also like these from Emser Tile

This is my bathroom -that’s why that little riser is there. The backsplash is for the kitchen that I’m using the same countertop but it just hasn’t been put in yet. Thanks

ok great. then pick a tile that matches that gray in the stone. depends on your lighting in your kitchen. I would do a longer tile rather than 2x4 or 3x6 size. 2x8, 3x9, 3x12, are all nice sizes for that type of quartz.

your middle tile is a warmer gray and seems to work. the one on the right is too blue.

I like the middle choice too. Love your counter. Would you mind sharing what it is?

Thank you. Calacutta selects from MSI

Try to match veining. None of those do that. Agree with Beth. I like the longer tiles with your countertops. I think darker would work better with cabinet color being white.

I don’t think the undertones on the right or middle tiles work. The left color works, but may be too dark for most people’s taste. Get more samples. Maybe fireclay shale?

I actually prefer the first one on the left but it would depend on how much area you need to tile because I wouldn't want to make a small room too dark. For a bathroom I think it would be a really nice contrast with while cabinets and your countertops.

    I vote for darker one.

On my screen, the one on the left appears to be the same hue as the veining. The middle is too pink/beige, and the left, too blue.

I prefer the first one the best. i love that it's dark, more matte looking and contrast with the white.

If I did the darkest one - would you do a light color grout? White?
I think for that specific tile, I would choose a grout that matched closely with the tile and keep the grout lines as small as possible.

    What about this one?

In viewing on MY screen - the far left and far right seem to match the best. The one on the far right looks like it may have more texture and "movement" which might be a nice look. You probably can't go wrong with either of them - maybe the middle one too - hard to tell from just viewing on a computer screen. Happy Designing - C.

if your counters are reading 'warm', then stick with warm color tiles and vice versa.

its very hard to tell with your pics since there doesn't seem to be great lighting and the lighting will change from a bathroom to a kitchen.

best to post a pic of the kitchen so we can see the lighting and layout.

i would not use a different color grout no matter what u choose. the counter is the star, b/s second fiddle. b/s just needs to compliment the counter.
