Last monarch pupae

Yesterday hubs and I took a road trip to Orlando. We took our last 6 monarch pupae and One fritilary pupa…all glued to a small branch and found a nice tree to tie it on. Our weather is too cold for the next few weeks to release them here and we decided it would be better to take them down there as pupae so they wouldn't damage their wings on the trip if they had hatched.


But since we were down there anyway we stopped at my favorite orchid nursery and I bought this beauty (a Vanda).
