This is my very first 'Ada's Flower' seedling to reach maturity. Out of a small group of seedlings, three plants were extra strong advanced growers, and out of those three, one stood out above the others. This bulb not only bloomed first, but it already has off-sets of its own! And it is only 24 months old.

Seedlings germinated Xmas 2016/2017, and it was a lovely surprise to have this flower for me this year.

...and here is the the seedling! It still has spots....and a much deeper, richer colour....but the shape!!

I know as a maiden bloom it could change quite a bit on it's second flowering, but somehow I think it will never come close to the shape of it's parent. What do you think? You all have more experience in breeding than I have, and would have a better idea on this.

....it reminds me a little bit of a starfish, at the moment!

Clearly, it's happy to multiply, at least!
