I am looking for an older recipe 'Refrigerator Coconut Cake'. This cake used for its' frosting sour cream, frozen coconut, sugar and perhaps something else?This cake did NOT use mostly 'whipped topping' along with a small amount of sour cream for the frosting! But that is what I am finding in my searches.

It also needs to be refrigerated for at least 2 days and it does taste like old-fashioned coconut cake.

I must make it tomorrow for my neighbor's 89th birthday Monday. I and another neighbor are having finger foods, cake and ice cream. Bigger celebration over the last few years but her condition precludes her having larger groups this year. Maybe we have spoiled her but she has no one else.
