ALIENS IN THE GARDEN: First year in the garden. Just startling to show the pattern in the throat. Will have to see what it does this summer.

AMBER SPYGLASS: One of the few Lambertson intros that does well for me. Pod and pollen fertile

ASHWOOD SUMMER SUNSHINE: Very nice plant. A consistent performer with blooms looking like this day after day.

AARON BROWN: Received this past spring. Too new to evaluate. I love the color.

ABSOLUTE TREASURE: Wonderful plant and bloom. It is slow to increase.

ADA MAY MUSICK: Another Lambertson that does well. Gorgeous bloom and consistent in zone 5.

AIN'T SHE NICE: Beautiful shade of pink.

ALCHEMIST: Late bloomer. Proliferations on each scape. I usually sell out of it and only keep the prolifs. Clumps up quickly.

ALL THINGS TO ALL MEN: Tends to spot early in the bloom cycle, but then it clears and looks like this for the remainder of the season.

ANGEL RODGERS: Blooms mid late season. Consistent performer.

APRIL LAQUINTA: I had this one on my list to leave the garden as it has been an under performer, but ir decided to finally bloom in October. It saved itself for now.

ARROGANT BASTARD: Probably my favorite plant over the past two years in spite of its name. This plant is a fantastic performer. Pod and pollen fertile. Wonderful branching, high bud count, will have the occasional proliferation.

ASHWOOD RINGS OF SATURN: Unusual bloom. I need to put it in a better location to really evaluate its performance.

Aaron's Little Whopper is a miniature.

Abilene Lillian had an "off" year in 2018.

Adamas was new to the garden.

I don't usually go in for doubles, especially selfed ones but Adopt Me was lovely. It was just planted the summer before and it has grown like crazy.

America Discovers Columbus does well in our garden like all of Richard Norris's daylilies.

August Wedding has been a so-so performer for us.

Sherry - I have August Fire growing in a pot, and it was only about 32 inches tall in those growing conditions. The flower is small and narrow.

So many pretty ones with more to come. Hard to keep my ordering down with this kind of enticement, but I must............ A little Fire Scarecrow always gets to me when Debra posts a picture of it. Astral Voyager wins me over with those pinched petals. But that trait would have to be stable or it might look a mess with some closed and some not........Autumn Minaret is another one that appeals mainly because of the time of bloom and the quantity. A good older Stout award winner................Maryl

Thanks Sherry, when it is in it's prime it is covered in blooms to the point that you can barely see foliage.

I have always been impressed with your Autumn Minaret and agree with Maryl about A little Fire Scarecrow.

ALL AMERICAN CHIEF - great bloomer

ALL REVVED UP - I like the bloom, but low bud count the past two years.

ART ATTACK - bloomed very well last year, added in June 2017.

ASHEVILLE PINK LADY - very pretty pink

All American Chief is so vibrant. It always draws my attention. Also on another red I have to agree with the comments on Acquire the Fire. In our hot summers to have a deep red that saturated and colorfast is nothing short of a miracle..............Maryl

Wow that is so weird Brad. I tried to post those pictures last night but it came up with something like " there has been a problem .......please refresh the page . And everything disappeared ....so I gave up figuring I was not going to bother to post to the pages if I ran into this everytime ( still ) . And then this morning I get an email with your comment ......soooo weird! Thanks for your comment ......Yes I love Archeopteryx too although this image looks a little squirrely . This photo was it's first bloom and first complete year in the garden this past summer.....so not many blooms . Looking forward to seeing what it can do year 2 . I have more A's and maybe will try to post some more

Ooooh ! I agree with oursteelers .......Abby Davisson is a really striking daylily . I bet she yells across the gardens to have everyone go look at her! Going on my list as of now !

This was the 1st bloom season for Abby Davisson, and the blooms really look better in person, really stunning. It did have short scapes this year, disappointing, but several of my new ones bloomed short so I think it should be taller this summer. It is supposed to be 30 inches tall, not really a tall daylily, but perfect where I have it planted. Seems to be very hardy, it came through our warm March followed by extra cold April, never noticed a thing.
