No answers, probably because it is impossible to say without a photo. Lots of Dramas over the years at shows and orchid meetings re. Cymbidiums with suspicious spots on leaves.

The worst problem is CMV. Cymbidium Mosiac Virus... No cure and it can spread rapidly and destroy a collection.

If it is fungal or insect damage, the little black spots are scar tissue and will never go away.

Do some googling and see what you can find.

I will try to take a photo, there just needs to be enough light, otherwise they are not even visible. And sadly I didn't find anything useful on google... Will keep trying

I think the little yellowish dots are marks where scale was and the other vague marks are inconclusive. I have nil Cymbidiums here in Cymbidium Heaven!

Just looking at your other post on aroids re. makes me believe that you are trying to grow and bloom your Cymbidium indoors and that is difficult because they are high light orchids and need seasons.

Too much shade and you will have lovely deep green leaves, but never, ever any blooms.

Your id needs a location or a climate zone to get good advice.

Thanks. But this is my only post about cymbudiums. It's still new, so I am just waiting to see if it is healthy. Those marks on the pictures are all the same, but they are so small, they are not very visible on the pictures. I'll start worrying about flowering later. It is directly next to a window, which has curtains so it gets maximum light for midwinter. And I live in central Europe. So it definitely cannot be kept outside right now, the temperature gets to below freezing...

It is possible the marks are genetic. I do not grow cymbidiums but I have seen something similar on some oncidiums. If they are insect related very little damage was done. And if there is no presence of insects then all is well. The mini scars will never go away but the leaf will continue to add to the good health of your orchid.
