I’m working on prettying up as we finally near the end of remodel. This little rug (30x48) worked well in our last entry. It’s still a good place to land our feet when we come in :) But I feel like a bigger one would give more style. But with the stairs it makes sizing a little awkward. A 4x6 rug would fit approximately where I’ve drawn the red square. Nothing wider than about 4.5 feet would clear the stairs. I also thought about a little throw under the white chair, which has turned out to be very functional for putting shoes on and off (shoe cabinet is right next to it.) I have a few other things to do, but want to start with rug. Thanks for any ideas!
