My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

    Not IKEA. But yes, I designed it and it was built by a custom closet company in New Jersey. It is made out of 3/4” white melamine.

    Wendy, what are your suggestions to keep the moths out? Did you line with cedar by chance?

    There wasn’t an issue with moths on this project. I don’t remember using backing either, since everything was white and built in. You can purchase cedar backing, I believe it comes three way, thin sheets, planks and a lined veneer. Most closet companies don’t do it, you would buy separate from a big box store and have a carpenter install it. Depending on the project, there are probably some pretty creative ways to incorporate it. Or, save some money as hang a cedar block or place cedar balls in the corner!
