In our open floor plan, we will have the off white Ikea grimslov kitchen cabinets and will have crown molding throughout the room. All trim is painted true white. What do we do about the crown molding in the kitchen area?

The cabinet trim will touch where the crown molding is so there's no break to the eye.

Do we keep all the crown molding white or match it where it is above the cabinets?

Note: In the kitchen area covered up with plastic are true white French doors and sidelights, all with white trim.
