What needs to go? And what should stay or be added?

Take all the "stuff" off. And then take a photo and post here. It will make it much clearer for you (and other posters) what needs to happen.

My suggestion is to have three middling sized something (vases, jars, candles, succulents etc) on one side. You could add your books like you currently have them. I am not sure regarding the bottom part. Would a few lightweight blankets, rolled up. look good? Like really nice ones, silk/brocade? Possibly a nice patterned box (I have a polka dotted one on one of my end tables).

I think your table is lovely, less stuff on there will make it lovlier :)

Clear off the top, keep 3 things. Move the scrapbook or photo album some place else. Also get rid of the small things on the bottom. Perhaps put a plant down there?

What if you move the guy laying down to the bottom? He seems too long and overlaps the other 2 things.

I like the flowers. Pull them away from the mirror a bit as it looks crowded.

I wouldn’t use anything else. But I’m a minimalist.

Just put the vase to the right or left so it’s not covering the whole mirror

Scrolling through the photos my first thought was it would look nice to have a plant or flowers for some softness. The table is pretty ornate so I'd keep the top simple and less.

The last photo is better balanced. I'd actually lower the flowers a few more inches in the vase.

I think with the vase and flowers, it looks great----but I think since it's so large, I would lose some of the other things and move the vase so that it is not totally blocking the mirror.

I like the vase and flowers and that's all! It makes a statement with that beautiful table!

@iheartsix sorry for the confusion. It’s my fist time asking advice on Houzz so I may be using it wrong. But I just needed guidance and input on my DecorMatters and well the two different threads are because of the changes I made from the initial post/pic
