Where in your home is this space? Does it have a function? I think the table is wrong shape, the mirror is blocked, and too much stuff. A tall plant, if anything, otherwise, leave the space empty.

I would move flowers to the left side of the mirror...

I’m so confused. Do I get rid of the console altogether? Or is it just too busy? Also should I lower the flowers, or just move them to the left or right if the mirror♀️

Try moving the flowers

Everything except the mirror because the table in infringing on a path and looks like it will be a tripping hazard.

I would replace the mirror with artwork.

Is that a switch plate behind the vase?

The table is very fussy and requires very little decor , never faux flowers , it is cheap to get fresh flowers at the super market every week so get a smaller vase with fresh flowers that don’t hide the mirror and thats it nothing else.

So this is the entry when you walk into apartment. It has a nook so I put the console and mirror there. Turn left to enter my bathroom and bedroom. The other pic is kitchen/living area.... console and mirror is what you see when you first step into apartment. Just to give a better idea.

First I am not sure where in the home this console is placed and it looks a bit tight in that space. It protrudes beyond the wall. Second it’s very crowded. Place fresh flowers lower and to the right and remove the rest.

Lovely apartment!! The console is too big-find a smaller, less ornate table.

Such a cute place and This is a great question. I really love that table, but believe it is too large for the space. When I first walk into a home, I like a bit of uncluttered breathing room. It’s the first impression to guests and I want it to feel open and airy. I think a great thing to put there there would be a beautiful piece of art. Something that shows your personality and sets the tone for your home. This table may be better suited for a larger, deeper space. At that point, nothing as tall as the mirror in front of the mirror (blocks it). So flowers or a nice plant or even branches, off to one side, and then keep it simple. Perhaps the books with a candle or small picture frame on top on the other side. Enjoy!

Thank you all for your input. Helps me so much. So I’ve decided I’m going to move the console somewhere else, but I’ll be keeping the mirror there... will keep you all updated when I go back today. Gonna make some changes and keep in mind everyone’s advice... Thank you all so much!!!

Looks like one edge of table is resting outside of the alcove. If so it’s the wrong piece. Too much clutter. Flowers should go first.

I really like all your pieces, especially the round mirror. I wouldn't put two mirrors in that space though. Maybe you can do art where the long mirror is and a smaller console under your round mirror. Or art where your round mirror is with a skinny console. I had a similar vase and arrangement, it makes a statement. If you use that, I would just move it left and use the little book arrangement you have on the right by itself.

I like what you did with the corner console! I feel the piece below your mirror does not " fit" in that space. It sticks out to much and could be a tripping hazard also. If it was me I would get rid of the mirror and replace with a piece of art., otherwise if you wanted to keep the mirror get either floating shelves or a smaller, thinner corner console/table. The table protrudes into the walkway, and there is too much stuff on it. I would hang art on the wall and nothing else.

As mentioned above " the table extends" into the walkway. It may not be a tripping hazard as I can see from the photo, the hallway is not that narrow , but I still feel it looks a bid odd covering a portion of the walkway, but that' s just my opinion.

I suppose a skinnier more narrow console will look better for future reference... I get it. Just not in budget yet, so I’m working with the furniture I have.

Skinnier table if any at all and less stuff on it. I like the mirror. Beautiful apartment and you have nice taste. It will come together.

I like your new console and appreciate your desire to have the mirror and table at your entrance. I like, too, the mask vase. A lot! Especially with the stems in it. I can’t see what else you have on the top of the console, but I would just place a small basket or colorful dish there for your keys, etc. and leave it at that. Let the items that you have “speak!” Sometimes less is more. Good work!

Nice place you have. I see the table as part of your entry, so I would just put a small tray and candle on it. Guests may want to place their purse and keys on it as they enter your home. My rule is nor more than 3 items on a small surface.
