Were these house plants before you moved here? I think they look fine and healthy.

They are probably taking on their true leaf shapes with good light and warm temps, rain etc..in other words they look healthy.

Lots of Alocasias and Colocasias do have ruffled leaves.

Also when the plants are young small plants, the leaves are not always the same as when they mature.

The second pic kinda looks like
Alocasia sarawakensis aka Yucatan Princess.

The first pic looks more like a Colocasia. ..Thailand Giant has huge green colored leaves with some wrinkles. Try googling it to see if it looks like yours.

The leaves may just have some slight environmental damage? Were there some cold nights?

how old are your bulbs. my large-leaved hosta get rugose when they get three to five years old.
