I have Pretty Lady rose it smells great and is a pretty dark pink.

I have also seen Pink Peace that is a nice dark pink.

Do you want something shrubby or is HT shape OK? Also, what size plant? Parade is a great colour, but more of a climber. I really liked the colour of All My Loving, but haven't had it long enough to judge its other characteristics. I adore Pink Pet, but wouldn't call it fragrant. Is there one whose colour is perfect yet?

Size, I would like to be able to trim and keep it around 4' or so. Shrubby would be better.

When I look up these Rose's, different sites show different colors! I like Parades coloring. Pink pet seems too light.

Mme Isaac Pereire might work for you. Known for her fragrance. She would be a climber in your zone, but worth the space.

Magna Charta, a hybrid perpetual, might also work. Not a climber, but would get large in your zone. MIne is about 5'.

I haven't seen mine bloom yet and it has smaller blooms, but Flamenco Rosita might work. My Heathcliff is often that colour and has a lovely tea scent, but isn't yet bushy so I don't know it's mature growth habit. Is Maggie too dark?

Here are ones that I have or have had, all are fragrant. BB wasn’t vigorous for me, but others have reported it being very vigorous.

Buxom Beauty’s blooms are big, beautiful, and fragrant. However, I think it is stingy and not a heavy bloomer.

This is Bishop's Castle, a dark pink (or is it medium pink?) which has a lovely fragrance. It does tend to lean over, although I keep mine rather short so that it doesn't usually do that. It looks lighter in this photo than it normally does, but it may still be lighter than what you would prefer. The flowers in the vase are closer to the true color, however.

You're wise to ask for advice on this, Rekha. Many roses are described as being "dark pink" but come across-to my eye at least-as more of a light red (Laguna, for example...grrr...

Young Lycidas is very fragrant with an Old Rose fragrance.

Ingrid, thank you so much for sharing pictures of your Bishop's castle. I was going to recommend that 1 as well as I have just ordered it and believe it to be a medium to dark pink. Thank you for showing me how beautiful that dark color can be in a vase.

Some pictures of young lycidas look much darker, so I had not considered it.

Go with what Kristine LeGault advised, Pretty Lady Rose. Fragrance, upright held large blooms on strong stems, shrubby growth, extremely productive of flowers that hold up wonderfully, deep pink color, great vigor, and disease resistance are its attributes. Pretty Lady Rose (its full name, not just "Pretty Lady"), is a very easy, non-fussy rose to grow.

Is Darcy Bussell too red for what you have in mind? I’m not a fan of red, but Darcey Bussell is considered a “red blend”. She’s always in bloom, doesn’t get huge, and takes the heat like a champ.

While looking through my pictures for a pinker looker photo of Darcey Bussell, I came across a few other dark pink roses I have.

Yves Piaget has very large dark pink blooms. It’s form is a little awkward, but it loves our dry heat, and the blooms are fragrant and enormous.

I think I found a picture of Darcey Bussell looking more dark pink, instead of so red.

Dark pink that has a better scent than Pink Peace is Baronne de Rothschild, hybrid tea hardy to zone 5. The scent is sweet pea and rose, versus Pink Peace is buttercream frosting on the own-root, but the grafted-pink-peace has less scent. Both Pink Peace and Baronne need alkaline pH & high calcium soil to stay healthy. Calcium helps with more petals.

Below is own-root Baronne de Rothschild bought from High Country Roses: First pic. is a week-long old bloom that doesn't fade. Bloom is 4" across:
