Art is always a good way to fill space I do not agree to use different color paints to show differnt spaces the furniture will do that. I would however like to see a floor plan with actual measurements since this type of picture really distorts space.Is that your entry door on the right by the kitchen or what does that lead to.

sometimes it's more funtional to creat different zones using a divider wall, there are many options to creating a great divider wall

special order lattice framing, it can be used on one side of a room only too

Thanks everyone for the help. I added two big artwork on the wall but it look like something else is missing. I dont think i can put division as i have 3 active dogs. I am contemplating on maybe replacing it with long floating shelves or change the artwork ..

A narrow console table under the art might work. I do like the idea of floating shelves too.
