Most helpful would be at least one more photo showing what's opposite the window and a floor plan with dimensions and all openings and permanent features marked.

For right now, move the TV and its console closer to the fireplace and put the dog bed on the other side.

Thanks, here are a few more photos and the dimensions. Hopefully you can see them okay. This layout shows the 4x8 sheets I added. The room is basically 17'x19.

OK. Try the loveseat where the sofa is now. Put the sofa facing the fireplace/TV but pull it forward so there is 3' behind it, enough space to walk around to the chairs. When you replace the furniture, get actual arm chairs, maybe even small recliners or an ottoman to share if there's enough space.

Try that arrangement and see if it's comfortable and how much space you've got.

Put the TV where the sofa is on top of a long console. Put sofa in bay window area. Put a chair on either side of FP.

Thanks Gracie, I thought about something like that, but the sofa would be about 18' from the TV. It's like it's too big for one layout, but too small for 2 sitting areas. I'll move some things around to see if something like that would work, though!

You mentioned being ready for new furniture. Have you though about something modular? Duobed makes furniture that you can move around when you need to. Okay, here are 2 arrangements I like for the most part. First one:

I'd need a desk for the window instead of the chairs.

I like the table by the window, but that leaves the corner on the left kind of awkward.

I'm leaning towards this so I don't have to move cable access and less glare on the TV.

I like that better maybe just move the large sofa a little closer to the door And bring in a rug

Try moving the sofa closer to the loveseat so they relate to each other, then move the TV and console closer to the fireplace for better viewing. Move one chair (or both if enough room) out of the bay to sit across from the loveseat.

The bistro table is too small to sit alone behind the sofa, so move it into the bay.

You could put a console table behind the sofa, maybe even get a regular size breakfast table in the space behind it, too.

Wow, that is super cute. I am definitely ready to get rid of my chairs. They don't really work anymore. I was actually thinking of doing blue or teal accents, so that is a great option! Starting to look homey and lived in! I feel like I never settle in. Thanks for putting so much thought and time into helping me out! I love your ideas!
