That island with those floors is not good use the same color cabinets for the island as the rest.As for wall color we need to know more like the counter the backsplash even appliance colors.

I want to have a 2 tone kitchen. White being one of the colours. What colours would you suggest ? We are going with quartz counters, white with specks, see picture. We have stainless steel appliances.

It is hard to pick a color for island when it can be seen from other rooms.

You could use a gray green like this on the island but I wonder if your counter would work on that color.

Recently there was a thread with a plum island.

It would help to know what cabinet doors are like.

I think kitchens seem more cohesive when the island matches the perimeter.

A lighter blue gray would be nice for the island, I just painted my staircase railing BM Wrought iron and it’s pretty dark. Pretty counters, you can really match those to any color. Go to the store and get a few samples, narrow it down, and paint a big poster board of that color. Or if you have time order big poster sized stickers from Samplize.com - that’s how I picked all my colors. Great tool.

The grays laid on the wood are possible options for the island. BM distant gray or chantilly lace for the upper and lower cabinets. Stainless steel appliances.
