I like it and I say it isn't too big. If your worried cut a box the size of the chandelier and using fishing wire or string tie the box to your current chandelier. This will give you a better visual of what it will fell like.

This is just a suggestion, mind you, but if you are handy you can always take a cardboard and cut it to the same size as the chandelier and then hang it with string to be sure about the size. It's a little work but have found over the years that mock-ups and save a lot of grief. It is a beautiful chandelier by the way! Good luck and please post after pics if you can.

Gorgeous chandelier. It should work out fine. The suggestion of using a carboard cutout for visualization is great. You could also use it to find the perfect hanging height.

The key variable is length of your table. You want about 12” from edge of table to edge of chandelier. A linear chandelier like you selected is a good choice for rectangular table. Just make sure you don’t hang it too high. Common mistake. Bottom of chandelier should be between 30-33” above table top. You have chains so that is good too. Have electrician leave 3-4” extra wire in junction box in case you need to lower more. Good luck. Should work well.

It's perfect. Don't get caught up up in playing by the rules. The goal is pick a fixture that can enhance your space and works with the way you actually life.

I think you might want to consider a bigger rug

Here is the chandelier, finally up. However, the ceiling needs some patch work because the base plate is too small and didn’t cover it all the way.

Chandelier is gorgeous. Loose the clock, dried flowers, table cloth & rug. If you must have a rug, needs to be larger & well, different. In the original photo you posted above, you can hardly tell the table cloth from the rug.

I would like better photos. It looks way too high. The clock must go. Ruins the look.

I hope as I previously posted, your Electrician left extra wire in junction box?! I can’t believe how high this has been hung. So disappointing to me.
