The bed location is best in the first picture. The blind alone is okay without the valance. I like blackout drapes. Treat the window like any other window. floor to ceiling drapes stacked just covering the molding to get the most natural light and make the window seem larger. Every guest room needs what you expect in a hotel. Night tables both sides of bed (they don't need to match). Bedside lamp. A place to sit. A place to put a suitcase. You have a great start with neutral walls and flooring. Turn the vanity to use as a bedside table, not on an angle. A desk is also nice functions as a night table and incudes seating. Or add a small chair or bench in the corner opposite the door. No need for a dresser but leaving a couple empty drawers in what you do use is nice
